Our Mission

Families striving to raise their children in the Catholic faith need all the support they can get. The world will not help parents pass Catholic values on to their children. Building a family library rich in high quality, age appropriate Catholic children's books has the potential to greatly enrich the future of the church. Raising Saints Library will strengthen families as they grow deeper in understanding of their Catholic faith. The goal of this program is to send Catholic books to families of young children at no charge.

Starting Small with Big Potential

In 1995, Dolly Parton began providing free books to the children in her local community through her Imagination Library. Recognizing the value of reading to young children this program has expanded to provide over 200,000,000 books around the world. In 2005, Harold Grinspoon recognized a need for Jewish families to have access to share culture and traditions with their children. He mailed 200 books to children in Western Massachusetts. His PJ library now sends over 230,000 books each month. These programs are both made possible by generous donors. Raising Saints Library is starting small with 100 families for one year, but with your support we can continue to grow the program and provide more families with books that will inspire the future saints of the Catholic church.
